hey! I would love to help make a mobile application version, if possible. Is there anywhere I can reach out?

(+1)

I think this is a really great concept! but it could use some polish.

One: I would like to be able to rotate the blocks with the shoulder buttons

Two: Some delay on when a piece can turn to sand would be nice. Both when spawning and when landing.

1. I'll note it

2. That delay exists but it is very short

how do i get a lin

(+1)

A single color of a sand has to reach from one end of the screen to the other.

just so you know, you are able to make a web version through itch.io

(+1)

It's embedded on the itch site already

fair

Really fun! At first, I was getting frustrated, then I noticed there was a colorblind mode (thanks 🙏) and after two or three tries, I started enjoying it a lot 😃!

skill issue

the truth hurts 🥲

damn, that's tough

(-1)

yeah and it seems you might have a brain issue tbh

Very satisfying. Good! Congratulations. Original idea.

(+1)

Seem like it runs at fast speed sometimes even though it's on green difficulty. If I leave the game for a while and come back to a new game it runs fast (actually the two first blocks are almost always faster than the rest)

Browser version, right?

(-1)

Good update. Congrats!

(+2)

im solid at tetris but this game quite difficult especially when your at the faster speeds

(+1)

Needs a relaxing mode

(+2)

100% agree

(1 edit) (+1)

Sandtrix+ has a custom game mode, you can set it up really slow if you want.

oh cool, didn't know there was a steam version of this game

Thats great to know searched the description but couldn't find any mention of it. Off to buy now thanks!

Можете ли вы сделать версию для андроид?

chin chen chan chin chen chan chin chon chin chejenchan chin ( spanish meme if you dont understand)

Didn't the Big Tetris legal try to shut you down?

Can you make a version for the NES or the SNES?

(1 edit) (+1)

No, even if I knew how, the NES/SNES CPU would be way too slow for the required computations.

Can anyone help me with a problem with the game? When I boot up sandtrix this happens... well, its easier to show than to tell. If anyone has a solution please answer on the video. Danke!

NVM got it working now

Very weird issue. What was the problem?

sorry for the late reply. i had to run it as administrator for it to work

(+2)(-1)

Is it possible to get a version with relaxing mode on endless so the blocks dont speed up?

Nice!

(-2)

Could you compile an html version? If possible could you upload it to itch? If not could you create a download for the html version?

No, sorry

(-2)

wasnt it named setris?

(+1)

Played this a lot during the summer, since then was it changed how sand falls?

When Sandtrix+ was released. In Sandtrix+ you can use the old sand physics on custom game mode.

Hi. The game is super good, that I would play it all day.

For me the game just randomly became super fast

Strange, can you come on the discord and describe your problem in more detail.

Any plans for android?

(+1)

Love this game! I would buy the Steamversion, but the MACOSX-Version here is not working for me, is the game working with 10.11.6 here or on steam? Thank you!

Please come on the discord and describe your problem.

I like the new music!

Cool update bro!

(+1)

So addicting, I keep coming back to it.

Managed to get 220.018 on endless mode

works on linux :)

the game doesn't work on mac :D

please come on the discord and describe the problem

Хрень полная не советую

Did you post this game to ludumdare : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/sandtrix ?

No

(+1)

Had such a fun time trying out Sandtrix!! It's like Tetris, but I'm even more bad at it!

I can't play the game, it won't load =/

Please come on the discord and describe your problem.

Bro just copied game from CrazyGames

(+3)

No, they're just hosting the game there.

(+1)

Oh, ok

Libgdx

aha the falling types were reverted! I liked both, ultimately. I was enjoying adapting to the new one. I'd quite happily have had a switch, but I see you reverted to just the original. That works for me!

(+3)

Dont like the new update. Really weird.

it goes different speeds when my laptop is plugged in vs unplugged btw. I've been naming my highscores -slow and -fast based on that. would be nice if instead i could have separate high score lists for plugged in vs unplugged. plugged in I can get to about 500k on hard, unplugged I just reached a new highscore of 3.8m on slow-hard, which really should count as a different kind of easy. it's a lot of fun finding new qualitatively different strategies for how to arrange things in order to make room and keep entropy low. I find it more fun unplugged, not just because my scores go higher (though i admit it, that's part of it), but also because it's more possible to maintain a combo on purpose. I think I'd like it when my laptop is plugged in and the game runs fast more if there was an easy mode that extended the duration of the combo slightly so it's more possible to maintain it. right now it's possible in fast/plugged-in mode, but just a little too difficult to provide a satisfying success signal. (btw the unplugged slowdown goes away when I disable my browser's energy saver)

Cool idea. It feels like the game would play almost the same if you didn’t use tetraminos. Hits nostalgia vibes of the old java falling sand game from like 20 years ago. I managed a high score of 77.145

(+1)

Except for the width that they cover and how much of a pile they create in each variant...

There are near infinite shapes that would play almost exactly the same while also not being “tetrominos”

(+1)

True but the five tetrominoes are _the_ free polyminos with four unit squares... they are a mathematical fact, other four unit square shapes are all derivatives and since in this game you can rotate them a number of those derivatives are even included. But I suppose you could go for the five unit square polyminos, but there are a lot more of those and therefore are harder for the player to remember how they would like to deal with each and the three unit square polyminos are just too few and compact.

(+2)

The new update seems a little awkward for me. I really liked the old version.

agreed, it would be nice to have them as a mode switch or just be able to download old versions. I seem to be able to get higher scores on the new version, though.
