Is it possible to get a version with relaxing mode on endless so the blocks dont speed up?

came down here to say this lol

Nice!

(-2)

Could you compile an html version? If possible could you upload it to itch? If not could you create a download for the html version?

No, sorry

(-2)

wasnt it named setris?

Played this a lot during the summer, since then was it changed how sand falls?

When Sandtrix+ was released. In Sandtrix+ you can use the old sand physics on custom game mode.

Hi. The game is super good, that I would play it all day.

For me the game just randomly became super fast

Strange, can you come on the discord and describe your problem in more detail.

Any plans for android?

Love this game! I would buy the Steamversion, but the MACOSX-Version here is not working for me, is the game working with 10.11.6 here or on steam? Thank you!

Please come on the discord and describe your problem.

I like the new music!

Cool update bro!

So addicting, I keep coming back to it.

Managed to get 220.018 on endless mode

Хрень полная не советую

Did you post this game to ludumdare : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/54/sandtrix ?

No

(+1)

Had such a fun time trying out Sandtrix!! It's like Tetris, but I'm even more bad at it!

I can't play the game, it won't load =/

Please come on the discord and describe your problem.

Bro just copied game from CrazyGames

(+3)

No, they're just hosting the game there.

(+1)

Oh, ok

Libgdx

aha the falling types were reverted! I liked both, ultimately. I was enjoying adapting to the new one. I'd quite happily have had a switch, but I see you reverted to just the original. That works for me!

(+3)

Dont like the new update. Really weird.

it goes different speeds when my laptop is plugged in vs unplugged btw. I've been naming my highscores -slow and -fast based on that. would be nice if instead i could have separate high score lists for plugged in vs unplugged. plugged in I can get to about 500k on hard, unplugged I just reached a new highscore of 3.8m on slow-hard, which really should count as a different kind of easy. it's a lot of fun finding new qualitatively different strategies for how to arrange things in order to make room and keep entropy low. I find it more fun unplugged, not just because my scores go higher (though i admit it, that's part of it), but also because it's more possible to maintain a combo on purpose. I think I'd like it when my laptop is plugged in and the game runs fast more if there was an easy mode that extended the duration of the combo slightly so it's more possible to maintain it. right now it's possible in fast/plugged-in mode, but just a little too difficult to provide a satisfying success signal. (btw the unplugged slowdown goes away when I disable my browser's energy saver)

Cool idea. It feels like the game would play almost the same if you didn’t use tetraminos. Hits nostalgia vibes of the old java falling sand game from like 20 years ago. I managed a high score of 77.145

(+1)

Except for the width that they cover and how much of a pile they create in each variant...

There are near infinite shapes that would play almost exactly the same while also not being “tetrominos”

(+1)

True but the five tetrominoes are _the_ free polyminos with four unit squares... they are a mathematical fact, other four unit square shapes are all derivatives and since in this game you can rotate them a number of those derivatives are even included. But I suppose you could go for the five unit square polyminos, but there are a lot more of those and therefore are harder for the player to remember how they would like to deal with each and the three unit square polyminos are just too few and compact.

(+2)

The new update seems a little awkward for me. I really liked the old version.

agreed, it would be nice to have them as a mode switch or just be able to download old versions. I seem to be able to get higher scores on the new version, though.

(+2)

Heads up for the creator: there is a version of this game posted on the Google Play store called "sand block color puzzle" by Trang Gaming. Not sure if that was you that put that up, but you may want to look into it.

(+1)

Any mobile apps are not associated with this game.

(+1)

yeah, I understand. Wasn't sure if maybe you would have wanted it taken down or smth. Thx

(1 edit)

100K downloads? I feel out of touch, the way these things become popular. Looking at it, I don't think there's any grounds to get it taken down under. Game mechanics aren't copyrightable and it hasn't stolen any assets. They even changed the shape of the T block, presumably to weaken any potential claims from The Tetris Company for trademark infringement.

(+2)

fun fact: it used to be called setris

(-18)

STOLEN FROM CRAZY GAMES AND HE DIDNT GIVE CREDIT

(+9)

This is the original game

(1 edit) (+12)

I put it up on CrazyGames.

(-6)

How

he must have asked them too

(-4)

oh ok

(+6)

The sheer craziness of someone claiming somebody stole a game from crazy games when they don't even make games, they just host them (and they often do, themselves, steal other peoples games).

There is also literally a button at the top on CrazyGames's website for devs to set up an account to upload their own games.

(+2)

I love this game, but I have trouble reading the color coming up next. It was nice in the original release when the block preview itself was colored in, instead of a bar sitting below it. I was able to predict the upcoming piece much easier that way. Otherwise, I'm having a lot of fun.

(+3)

I love this so much. Please make it easier in the easy mode. I'd like to play it more casually. I end up losing too quickly and that is discouraging. Also lots more people would be able to enjoy, the difficult modes would still suit more skilled players. It would also help if the playing area had a larger height. Sometimes I get just the right pieces but they can't reach the pile since I'm out of vertical space so I just lose the game when I could have had a chance at completing the line. Thank you for making such an amazing game.

Fun game my guy!

Your game doesn't even look that good why are you trying to promote it on other people's games

(+1)(-11)

what he did was perfectly fine bro stop being such a piece of crap, if you want to criticize at least give specific stuff so that he can use it to improve his game

(+11)(-4)

well he has a point about advertising his trashy ass game on an actually good game

(1 edit) (+6)(-3)

victor's game looks like one of these shitty bootleg obscure games that you'd find in an old site

(+1)(-13)

your game has no value.

nothing about it is good. its made prematurely like my games.

Itlas is a hard 2D Platformer in which a little slug boy named Itlas must save his beloved crush Lily who doesn’t even know Itlas exists! Run, jump, and dodge obstacles! Obstacles include infected slugs and flying birds

instead of piggybacking off other games, why not suggest some youtubers to make videos of it?

Poolyo-Poolyo X Sandtrix when?

(+1)(-1)

The rotate and clear sounds are SO LOUD compared to the placement sound; also I think points for hard dropping should only be awarded when the piece lands for the hard drop that placed the piece, and placing shouldn't award points at all aside from the hard drop points.
